CHILLI MEATBALLS IN TOMATO SAUCE

CHILLI  MEATBALLS  IN  TOMATO  SAUCE:  

On the table in 40 min
                 
INGREDIENTS:

500  g minced beef
8  green onions, chopped
1  clove garlic, crushed
1  tbsp tomato paste
1/2  cup (35g) stale breadcrumbs
2  tbsp  chopped fresh parsley
1  egg
Plain flour
400  g can tomatoes
1/2  tsp  chilli  powder
1  tsp  Worcestershire sauce
2  tbsp  dry white wine

METHOD:
  • Using hand, combine beef, half the onion, garlic, paste, breadcrumbs, parsley and egg in large bowl; shape into 8 meatballs. Toss in flour; shake off excess. Place meatballs around edge of large shallow microwave-safe dish.
  • Combine undrained crushed tomatoes and remaining ingredients in bowl; pour over meatballs in dish. Cook, covered, on MEDIUM (55%) 20 minutes. uncover, cook on MEDIUM (55%) 10 minutes.
