COUNTRY -STYLE BEEF RISSOLES

COUNTRY  -STYLE  BEEF  RISSOLES: 

On the table in 25 min
                              
INGREDIENTS:

500  g minced beef
1   small ( 80g ) onion, grated
1   clove garlic, crushed
1   tbsp  barbecue  sauce
1  tbsp  tomato  sauce
1  tbsp  Worcestershire  sauce
1   cup  (70 g) stale breadcrumbs
1   egg, beaten lightly
1  tsp  chopped fresh thyme
2   tbsp  chopped  fresh parsley
1   small  (130g ) tomato, chopped

Glaze
1/4  cup ( 60  ml)  barbecue  sauce
2   tsp  Worcestershire  sauce

METHOD:
  • Using  hand, combine all ingredients in large bowl;shape into 8 patties,  about 7 cm wide. Place around edge of large oiled shallow microwave- safe dish.
  • Brush patties with Glaze; cook, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) about 7 minutes or until cooked through. Serve sprinkled  with extra chopped parsley, if desired.
  • Glaze combine sauces in small bowl.
